This page does not show patient testimonials, star ratings or review counts. Medical information should help you make a decision, not persuade you into one — and each patient's anatomy, symptoms, goals and recovery are different. Individual results vary.
How the process works
- First message. You message Dr. Erdal directly on WhatsApp, or use the contact form on the home page. If you wish, include three photos (front, oblique and side) and basic information such as height, weight, current bra size, symptoms, pregnancy and breastfeeding history, smoking status and current medications.
- Personal review. Dr. Erdal personally reviews your photos and history, usually within 24 hours, and replies with a technique recommendation for your anatomy, an estimated reduction weight and an all-inclusive quote. The initial consultation is free.
- Consultation. The conversation covers what breast reduction can and cannot change for you, which pedicle and incision pattern would fit your anatomy, what it may mean for nipple sensation and breastfeeding, and whether surgery is advisable at all. Suitability is always confirmed by personal consultation and examination, including an in-person consultation with Dr. Erdal before surgery. Some enquiries end without an operation being scheduled; that is a legitimate outcome of a consultation rather than a failed one.
- Surgery and early recovery in Istanbul. Surgery takes place under general anaesthesia at a JCI-accredited hospital in Istanbul, followed by hotel recovery and a post-operative review with Dr. Erdal before you fly home. The patient journey page sets out each stage and its timing.
- Follow-up. After you return home, follow-up continues online with scheduled photo and video reviews, and you can reach Dr. Erdal directly on WhatsApp throughout your recovery.
Checking independently
You do not need to rely on anything this site writes about itself. The board certifications (FACS, FEBOPRAS), the Associate Professor appointment at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, the publication record on PubMed and the Ministry of Health health-tourism authorisation (USHAŞ) No. 2026034015610080000444996 can each be checked with the issuing body; the credentials page gives the direct link for every item.
